Soorakkai dosai (Bottle-gourd Dosai)

Anyone who wants to reduce their body weight should eat Soorakai (Bottle gourd) regularly. Soorakkai is rich in  fiber content. This soorakkai dosai was told by my aunty. I tried this recipe several times and came out well.
Take a look at the required ingredients.
Ingredients
  • Soorakkai (Bottlegourd) -250 grams
  • Arisi (Rice) - 200grams
  • Vendhayam (Fenugreek) -1 tbsp
  • Salt-to taste
 Note: Prepare Soorakkai Dosai batter and keep aside for 6 - 7 hrs till it ferments.
Method: 
- Soak Arisi (Rice) and  Vendhayam (Fenugreek) for 2 hours.
- Remove the skin of Soorakkai and cut into very small pieces.
- Grind Arisi and vendhayam.
- Now add Soorakkai pieces and grind well.
- Add salt ,mix and keep aside for 6-7 hrs.
- Make Dosai in  a pan and serve with any type of chutney.
Good healthy tiffin for all ages.
